Repair before its too late!
When you see first sign of damage,dont ignore it, visit your local repair shop depending on what has actually happened. Neglecting it may cause more bad than good.
Bag liner is a YES.
Protect the inside of your handbag from spills, especially if you change your bag frequently
Never store your handbag in plastic or vinyl.
Using them will only trap moisture inside, that will create mold that will grow on your bag
Never store your handbag without a cover or inside support!
Properly store your handbag in your closet using a purse insert for support and a dust bag cover. Another economical tip is to use tissue paper inside of your handbag to keep the shape and placing your bag inside of a pillowcase to avoid dust.

Find out what type of material your handbag is made of because it just may require different instructions to clean and preserve it.
- SUEDE - use a suede brush several times a season to keep the surface of the suede in good condition.
- PAINTED (finished) LEATHER - Use a clean, oil-free, dry cloth to spruce up.
- DYED LEATHER - Use a soft, oil-free polishing cloth to wipe it down.
- FABRIC PURSES - Use a brush and a damp cloth to remove light soil.
Do not over clean!
Have your handbags cleaned more often but, dont over do it. Build-up of chemical products will also contribute to the destruction of your bag.
Handle your handbag with clean hands.
You will want to avoid getting dirt, natural oil and grime on your handbag.
Never put your handbag on the floor!
The floor is for ypur feet, it is nasty, why would you place your precious handbag there? Always try to place your handbag on the back of your chair, on your lap or on a neighboring seat.
